Product features of C4 steel ball valve:
The ball of the floating C4 steel ball valve is movable. Under the pressure of the medium, the ball can move a certain distance and tightly press against the sealing surface at the outlet end, ensuring the sealing at the outlet.
1. The flow resistance is very low. The ball valve has the least flow resistance among all types of valves. Even for the reduced-diameter ball valve, its flow resistance is still quite small.
2. The sealing performance is excellent. The valve seat (sealing ring) of the ball valve is generally made of elastic materials such as polytetrafluoroethylene, which makes it easy to ensure sealing. Moreover, the sealing force of the ball valve increases with the increase of the medium pressure.
3. The valve stem sealing is reliable. When the ball valve is opened or closed, the valve stem only rotates 90°. Therefore, the packing seal of the valve stem is less likely to be damaged, and the reverse sealing of the valve stem's sealing force increases with the increase of the medium pressure.
4. The opening and closing of the ball valve only requires a 90° rotation, so it is easy to achieve automatic control and remote control. The ball valve can be equipped with electric, pneumatic or hydraulic actuators.
The C4 steel ball valve is a metal component that comes into contact with corrosive media. It is cast or forged using the material 00Cr14Ni14Si4 (referred to as C4 steel).
