The pneumatic O-type cut-off ball valve is mainly used for cutting off or connecting the medium in the pipeline, and can also be used for regulating and controlling the fluid. Compared with other valve types, it has the following advantages.

1. Low fluid resistance. The pneumatic ball valve is the valve type with the least fluid resistance among all valve types. Even for the reduced-diameter ball valve, its fluid resistance is still quite small.

2. Reduced friction torque of the valve stem. The thrust bearing reduces the friction torque of the valve stem, enabling the valve stem to operate smoothly and flexibly for a long time.

3. Good valve seat sealing performance. The sealing ring made of elastic materials such as polytetrafluoroethylene is used, which has an easy-to-seal structure and the sealing capacity of the pneumatic ball valve increases with the increase of the medium pressure.

4. Reliable valve stem sealing. Since the valve stem only rotates without lifting, the packing seal of the valve stem is less likely to be damaged, and the sealing capacity increases with the increase of the medium pressure.

5. Long service life due to the good self-lubrication of materials such as polytetrafluoroethylene, which has a small friction loss with the ball. Therefore, the service life of the ball valve is long.

6. The lower part of the valve stem and the protruding part of the valve stem head prevent the valve stem from spraying out. In case the valve stem seal is damaged due to a fire, the protrusion can form a metal contact with the valve body to ensure the valve stem seal.

7. Anti-static function: Springs are set between the ball, the valve stem, and the valve body to conduct the static electricity generated during the switching process.
