Structural Characteristics of Liquid-Controlled Slow-Closing Check Valve 


The valve operates according to the program and can automatically close in two stages (fast and slow) at the predetermined time and angle in both normal power supply and sudden power outage situations. The opening time of the valve, as well as the angles and times for quick and slow closures, can all be adjusted as needed to ensure strong adaptability.

3. This valve can replace the functions of the original electric gate valve and check valve at the pump outlet. By using one valve instead of two, it reduces the floor space and investment.


Application


The heavy-weight hydraulic control self-closing check butterfly valve is mainly used in hydropower stations, water supply pump rooms, as well as in various pump stations in industries such as power, petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, mining, etc. It is installed at the inlet of the water turbine or the outlet pipe of the water pump to be used for closing, backflow prevention, and regulating flow. The valve is available in both heavy-weight type and accumulator type for selection.

The potential energy characteristic of the heavy hammer type liquid-controlled slow-closing check valve has a higher safety factor compared to other liquid-controlled valves. It combines the functions of a gate valve and a check valve. The valve opens as the heavy hammer is lifted and remains in a fixed potential energy state. When the oil pump motor set malfunctions or experiences a power outage, the heavy hammer slowly descends under the force of gravity to close the valve. It is mainly installed at the water intake of hydropower stations and water turbines, serving as an inlet valve for water turbines or installed at the pump outlets of various pump stations in water conservancy, power, water supply and drainage, etc., where higher safety requirements exist. The heavy hammer type liquid-controlled slow-closing check valve consists of six major parts: the butterfly valve, the transmission system, the hydraulic station, the heavy hammer energy storage mechanism, the locking device, and the electrical control system.
