The hydraulic control slow-closing check valve is mainly installed at the inlet of the hydroelectric turbine in hydropower stations, serving as the inlet valve of the turbine; or it is installed at the outlet of the water pump in various pump stations such as water conservancy, power, and water supply and drainage systems, replacing the functions of check valves and gate valves. During operation, the valve cooperates with the pipeline main body, following the principle of hydraulic transition process, through the preset opening and closing procedures, effectively eliminating water hammer in the pipeline to achieve reliable closure of the pipeline and play a role in protecting the safety of the pipeline system.
It can replace the functions of the original electric gate valve and check valve at the pump outlet, and integrates the mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems into one unit, thereby reducing the floor space and infrastructure investment.
2. The electro-hydraulic control functions are complete. Without the need for additional configuration, it can be used as an independent system for local debugging and control. It can also be used as a device unit of a distributed control system (DCS), managed centrally by the central computer through the 1/0 channels, achieving coordinated operation with pumps, water turbines, bypass valves and other pipeline equipment. It is equipped with manual functions, allowing manual opening and closing of valves even without power supply, meeting the requirements for valve debugging and control in special working conditions.
3. Excellent controllability, wide adjustment range and strong adaptability. The electro-hydraulic control system has multiple adjustment points, allowing for the setting of opening and closing procedures according to different pipeline control requirements. This ensures that when the opening and closing conditions are met, the valve can and only can automatically open at the pre-set time and angle, and close in two stages (fast and slow) in a timely manner. It can also achieve automatic closing without electricity, effectively eliminating destructive water hammer, preventing runaway accidents of water pumps and hydroelectric units, reducing pressure fluctuations in the pipeline system, and ensuring the safe and reliable operation of the equipment.
4. The main valve sealing pair adopts a three-bias metal sealing or a double-bias rubber sealing structure, which is easy to open and close and ensures reliable sealing. Additionally, there is an extra enlarged bias, enabling the valve to have excellent self-closing and self-sealing performance. The butterfly plates for medium and small diameters are designed as streamlined flat structures, while the butterfly plates for large diameters are designed with a double-flat truss structure, which reduces resistance and ensures smooth water flow. The flow resistance coefficient of the valve is only 0.1 to 0.6, much lower than the flow resistance coefficient of the check valve (1.7 to 2.6), resulting in significant energy-saving effects.
