The material used for the heat-insulating titanium butterfly valve is titanium, which is a metal with high chemical reactivity.
However, it exhibits particularly excellent corrosion resistance to many corrosive media.
The reason is that titanium has a strong affinity for oxygen, and it readily reacts with oxygen to form a hard and dense protective oxide film on its surface.
The titanium butterfly valve is virtually non-corrosive in air, fresh water, seawater, and high-temperature steam.
The titanium butterfly valve is suitable for flow regulation. However, due to the relatively high pressure loss of the titanium butterfly valve in the pipeline, it is approximately three times that of the gate valve.
