Overview of the 2205-2507 Dual-Phase Steel Electric Shut-off Valve: 

The electric stop valve is a type of forced-sealing valve. Therefore, when the valve is closed, pressure must be applied to the valve disc to ensure that the sealing surface does not leak. When the medium enters the valve from below the valve disc, the resistance that the operating force needs to overcome is the friction between the valve stem and the packing, as well as the thrust generated by the pressure of the medium. The force required to close the valve is greater than that required to open it. Therefore, the diameter of the valve stem must be large to avoid the problem of the valve stem bending. In recent years, since self-sealing valves have emerged, the flow direction of the medium for the stop valve has changed to enter the valve chamber from above the valve disc. At this time, under the action of the medium pressure, the force required to close the valve is smaller, while the force required to open the valve is larger. The diameter of the valve stem can be reduced accordingly. At the same time, this form of valve is also more reliable under the action of the medium. When the electric stop valve is opened, when the opening height of the valve disc is 25% to 30% of the nominal diameter, the flow rate has reached a larger value, indicating that the valve has reached the fully open position. Therefore, the fully open position of the stop valve should be determined by the travel of the valve disc.
