The CD4MCu material stop valve is a high-performance valve, which is widely used in industries such as chemical engineering, petroleum, natural gas and marine engineering.


Material characteristics: CD4MCu is a duplex stainless steel that combines both austenitic and ferritic structures, featuring outstanding corrosion resistance, high strength, and long service life. Its chemical composition includes elements such as Cr, Ni, Mo, Cu, N, etc. In terms of mechanical properties, the tensile strength is ≥ 750 MPa, the yield strength is ≥ 550 MPa, the hardness is HRC 30-35, and the impact toughness is ≥ 100 J (at room temperature). 

Structural features: It adopts a classic lifting-type design. The key components such as the valve body, valve disc, and valve stem are all made of CD4MCu material. The inner flow channel is smooth, reducing the resistance of the medium. The sealing components can be selected as either metal hard seals or flexible graphite packing, suitable for high-temperature and high-pressure working conditions. 

Performance advantages: It exhibits outstanding performance in resisting chloride ion corrosion, sulfuric acid corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking, being more than three times better than 316 stainless steel. Its tensile strength and working temperature also exceed those of ordinary stainless steel globe valves by a significant margin. 

Application scenario: Suitable for strong corrosive media (such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, seawater, sulfur-containing oil and gas), high-pressure and high-temperature environments (such as oil refining facilities, geothermal pipelines, steam systems), and slurry transportation of particles-containing media. It is widely used in industries such as chemical engineering, petroleum and natural gas, marine engineering, power and energy. 

Manufacturing process: Utilize precision casting and forging techniques to ensure the tightness of the valve body. Surface strengthening treatments include plasma cladding and nitriding processes, enhancing wear resistance and service life. Intelligent detection methods such as X-ray flaw detection, ultrasonic testing, and helium mass spectrometry leak detection are employed to guarantee product quality. 

Selection Guide: When making a selection, factors to consider include nominal diameter (DN15-DN600), compatible medium type (such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, seawater, etc.), and operation mode (manual or worm gear mechanism).


Application:


Suitable for transportation of strong corrosive media (such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, seawater, sulfur-containing oil and gas), high-pressure and high-temperature environments (such as oil refining plants, geothermal pipelines, steam systems), as well as slurry containing particulate matter. Widely applied in industries such as chemical engineering, petroleum and natural gas, marine engineering, power and energy.


Packing of Standard Packing: 


Typical bulk packaging includes palletized plastic 5 gallon/25 kg. pails, fiber and steel drums to 1 ton super sacks in full container (FCL) or truck load (T/L) quantities. Research and sample quantities and hygroscopic, oxidizing or other air sensitive materials may be packaged under argon or vacuum. Solutions are packaged in polypropylene, plastic or glass jars up to palletized 470 gallon liquid totes Special package is available on request.
