Product features of duplex steel valves:


1. Low flow resistance. Among all types of valves, duplex steel ball valves have the smallest flow resistance. Even for reduced-diameter duplex steel ball valves, the flow resistance is still quite low.

2. Quick and easy to operate. As long as the valve body rotates 90°, the duplex steel ball valve completes the full opening or full closing action, making it easy to achieve rapid opening and closing.

3. Good sealing performance. The valve seat (sealing ring) of duplex steel ball valves is generally made of elastic materials such as polytetrafluoroethylene, which is easy to ensure sealing. Moreover, the sealing force of the ball valve increases with the increase of medium pressure.

4. Reliable valve stem sealing. During the opening and closing of the ball valve, the valve stem only rotates 90°, so the packing seal of the valve stem is less likely to be damaged, and the reverse sealing of the valve stem's sealing force increases with the increase of medium pressure.

5. The opening and closing of duplex steel ball valves only requires 90° rotation, so it is easy to achieve automatic control and remote control. The ball valve can be equipped with electric, pneumatic, or hydraulic actuators.

6. The channel of duplex steel ball valves is smooth and flat, and is not prone to medium deposition. It can be used for pigging and ball passing.

Application:


The bimetallic steel ball valve, with its excellent corrosion resistance and high strength, has been widely used in industries such as oil refining, petrochemicals, chemical industry, oil and gas industry, pulp and paper industry, fertilizer industry (urea industry, phosphate fertilizer industry), food and pharmaceutical industry, etc., replacing austenitic stainless steel valves. Its application is becoming increasingly widespread. 

The excellent corrosion resistance and high strength of the duplex steel ball valve are determined by the properties of its material. The so-called "duplex stainless steel" has approximately equal proportions of ferrite phase and austenite phase in its solid solution structure, and generally, the minor phase content is not less than 30%. Due to the presence of ferrite and austenite phases in its structure, duplex stainless steel possesses the advantages of high strength, chloride stress corrosion resistance similar to that of ferritic stainless steel, and excellent toughness and welding properties similar to those of austenitic stainless steel.


Packing of Standard Packing: 


Typical bulk packaging includes palletized plastic 5 gallon/25 kg. pails, fiber and steel drums to 1 ton super sacks in full container (FCL) or truck load (T/L) quantities. Research and sample quantities and hygroscopic, oxidizing or other air sensitive materials may be packaged under argon or vacuum. Solutions are packaged in polypropylene, plastic or glass jars up to palletized 470 gallon liquid totes Special package is available on request.
