Application of Electric Soft-Sealed Flanged Butterfly Valve
The electric soft-sealed flanged butterfly valve is suitable for the pump outlet position of pipelines with water or seawater as the medium. As a closed valve, it also has the characteristics of a check valve, which is used to prevent and reduce the backflow of the medium and water hammer impact in the pipeline system, protecting the pipeline. It is particularly applicable in occasions where the power supply is very reliable, such as power plants and water plants.

1. Electrically operated for opening and closing, with the ability to adjust, backflow prevention, and stop functions. Easy to operate, safe and reliable.
2. This valve can continuously achieve slow opening, fast opening or fast closing, slow closing actions, and effectively prevents the backflow of medium at the pump outlet and the occurrence of water hammer.
3. Energy-saving drive. The same drive motor as the ordinary butterfly valve can achieve the functions of high-speed small torque in the fast closing section and low torque in the slow closing section.
4. When installed at the pump outlet, this butterfly valve simultaneously has the functions of backflow prevention and gate valve, so it can replace two valves with one, saving installation space and reducing pipeline construction costs.
5. Low flow resistance. The flow resistance coefficient of this valve does not exceed 0.3 when fully open, thus saving energy and reducing the operating costs of the pipeline.
6. In case of accidents or power outages, the butterfly valve can be opened and closed manually for control.
