Energy Storage Hydraulic Check Butterfly Valve - Product Introduction


The energy storage hydraulic control slow-closing check butterfly valve is currently a pipeline control device, mainly installed at the inlet of the turbine in hydropower stations and used as the inlet valve of the turbine. Or it can be installed at the pump outlet of various pumping stations such as water conservancy, power, water supply and drainage, etc., to replace the functions of check valves and gate valves. When in operation, the valve works in coordination with the main pipeline unit. According to the principle of hydraulic transition process, through the preset opening and closing program, it effectively eliminates water hammer in the pipeline and achieves reliable cut-off of the pipeline, playing a role in protecting the safety of the pipeline system.


1. It can replace the functions of the original electric gate valve and check valve at the pump outlet, and integrate the mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems into a whole, reducing the occupied area and infrastructure investment.


2. The electro-hydraulic control function is complete, and it can be used as an independent system for on-site debugging and control without additional configuration. It can also be used as a device unit of a distributed control system (DCS), and be centrally managed by a central computer through a 1/0 channel, achieving coordinated operation with water pumps, water turbines, bypass valves and other pipeline equipment. It is also equipped with a manual function. Even when there is no power supply, the valve can be manually opened and closed, meeting the requirements for valve debugging and control under special working conditions.


3. Good controllability, wide adjustment range and strong adaptability. The electro-hydraulic control system is equipped with multiple adjustment points, allowing for the setting of opening and closing programs according to different pipeline control requirements. This ensures that when the conditions for opening and closing the valve are met, the valve can automatically open at the pre-set time and Angle and close in two stages, fast and slow. It can also achieve valve closure without electricity, effectively eliminate destructive water hammer, prevent the occurrence of pump and turbine unit flight accidents, reduce pressure fluctuations in the pipeline network system, and ensure the safe and reliable operation of equipment.


4. The main valve sealing pair adopts a three-offset metal seal or a double-offset rubber seal structure, which is easy to open and close and ensures reliable sealing. There is an additional increased eccentricity, which endows the valve with excellent self-closing and self-sealing performance. The medium and small diameter butterfly plates are designed as streamlined flat plate structures, while the large diameter butterfly plates are designed with a double flat plate truss structure. The displacement is small, the water flow is smooth, and the valve flow resistance coefficient is only 0.1 to 0.6, which is much smaller than that of the check valve (1.7 to 2.6), resulting in obvious energy-saving effects.


The energy storage hydraulic control slow-closing check valve is currently a type of pipeline control equipment, mainly installed at the inlet of the water turbine in hydropower stations, serving as the inlet valve of the water turbine; or installed at the pump outlet of various pump stations such as water conservancy, power, and water supply and drainage systems, replacing the functions of check valves and gate valves. During operation, the valve cooperates with the pipeline main body, following the principle of hydraulic transition process, through the preset opening and closing procedures, effectively eliminating pipeline water hammer to achieve reliable closure of the pipeline and play a role in protecting the safety of the pipeline system.
