Characteristics of High-Performance Butterfly Valve
A double eccentric butterfly valve with a spherical sealing surface and a single piece of flexible lip-type sealing seat is adopted, suitable for applications requiring reliable sealing and regulating characteristics. Due to the design of the double eccentric butterfly valve, this valve has excellent sealing performance and a long service life. It can be used for quick shut-off or flow regulation. The product is suitable for the transportation of liquids and gases (including steam) in various industrial pipelines. It can also be used for media such as chlorine, oxygen, high vacuum, anti-sulfur or corrosive media. The product can also have a fireproof structure as an option. The connection method can be either flanged or lug-type single flange for large pipe diameters and at the end of the pipeline.
Because this butterfly valve of the product adopts the three-dimensional eccentric principle, the spatial movement trajectory of the sealing surface is idealized. There is no friction or interference between the sealing surfaces, and with the appropriate selection of sealing materials, the sealing performance, corrosion resistance, high-temperature resistance and wear resistance of the butterfly valve have been reliably achieved.

Valve seat sealing
ANSI/FCI 70-2 specifies the leakage levels and test procedures for control valves. Among them, level VI represents the leakage level. The high-performance wafer-type butterfly valve can achieve the non-air bubble sealing as stipulated in MSS-SP61.
Fire-resistant valve seat
The fire-resistant valve seat is designed for use when effective closure is required during a fire. It is made by embedding a metal seat ring in PTFE, with PTFE serving as the seal. When PTFE is damaged, the metal seat ring serves as the seal for effective closure. The fire-resistant valve seat is also suitable for critical or severe operating conditions. Two-door units with fire-resistant valve seats have been tested and approved in accordance with API607 4th edition and BS6755 Part 2.
