Product Application

The flange-connected API cast steel gate valve is suitable for pipelines in various industrial applications such as petroleum, chemical, thermal power plants, etc., with a working temperature of less than 600℃, within the range of ANSI Class 150 to 2500. It is used to cut off or connect the pipeline medium. The applicable media include: water, oil products, steam, etc. 

Product features:

1. The product design and manufacturing follow API standards. The sealing is reliable and the performance is excellent. It can be used in conjunction with imported equipment.

2. The sealing between the 600Lb and above gate plates and the valve seat is made by stacking Stellite (stellite) cobalt-based hard alloys, which is wear-resistant, resistant to high temperatures, corrosion-resistant, has good anti-abrasion performance and a long service life.

3. The valve stem is treated by quenching and surface nitriding, which has good corrosion resistance and anti-abrasion performance.

4. It adopts a wedge-shaped elastic gate plate structure. For medium and large-sized diameters, rolling bearings are set, making the opening and closing easy.

5. The valve body materials are complete in variety. The packing and gaskets are selected reasonably according to actual working conditions or user requirements, and can be used in various pressure, temperature and medium conditions.

6. The 1500LB and 2500LB chambers adopt a pressure self-tightening sealing structure. The sealing performance increases with the increase of internal pressure, and the reliability is high.

7. The reverse sealing adopts a stainless steel threaded connection sealing seat or is welded with austenitic stainless steel on the body. The reverse sealing is reliable, and the replacement and maintenance of packing and gaskets can be carried out without stopping the machine, which is convenient and fast without affecting the system operation.

Typical bulk packaging includes palletized plastic 5 gallon/25 kg. pails, fiber and steel drums to 1 ton super sacks in full container (FCL) or truck load (T/L) quantities. Research and sample quantities and hygroscopic, oxidizing or other air sensitive materials may be packaged under argon or vacuum. Solutions are packaged in polypropylene, plastic or glass jars up to palletized 470 gallon liquid totes Special package is available on request.
