Product Overview
In the field of modern industrial fluid control, the cut-off valve is a key control element, and its material properties and structure design directly affect the system safety and operating efficiency. As a new generation of high-performance products, 2205 steel valve globe valve has shown significant advantages in harsh working conditions such as chemical industry, energy and environmental protection by virtue of its excellent duplex steel quality and diversified structural forms.
Application of 2205 Steel Valves for Globe Valves
(1) Chemical Process Control
In the PTA (Purified Terephthalic Acid) production plant, 2205 globe valves are used for the transportation of acetic acid under high temperature (280°C) and high pressure (15 MPa). Their excellent high-temperature oxidation resistance (continuous operating temperature ≤ 350°C) combined with the metal hard-sealing structure ensure zero leakage of the medium. In the fluorine chemical industry, the specially treated valve stem packing (PTFE + graphite) of the valve can withstand strong corrosive media such as perfluoropropane. (2) Marine Engineering Equipment
The seawater injection system of FPSO (Floating Production, Storage and Offloading Unit) uses 2205 globe valves to withstand sand-containing seawater for a long time. The high hardness (HB2280) of the material combined with the tungsten carbide-coated valve seat extends the service life of the valve by 3-5 times compared to traditional stainless steel. In deep-sea oil production tree equipment, the valve has passed NORSOK M-650 certification and can withstand deep-sea high pressure (2105 MPa) environment.
(3) Environmental Treatment System
The flue gas desulfurization (FGD) device of the waste incineration power plant, 2205 globe valves are used to regulate the corrosive slurry containing SO2CF. Its bimodal structure effectively resists intergranular corrosion and the double gate plate design ensures the sealing reliability in the particle medium. In the wastewater treatment field, the specially designed flow guiding hole structure of the valve can prevent valve jamming caused by sludge deposition.
Packing of Standard Packing:
Typical bulk packaging includes palletized plastic 5 gallon/25 kg. pails, fiber and steel drums to 1 ton super sacks in full container (FCL) or truck load (T/L) quantities. Research and sample quantities and hygroscopic, oxidizing or other air sensitive materials may be packaged under argon or vacuum. Solutions are packaged in polypropylene, plastic or glass jars up to palletized 470 gallon liquid totes Special package is available on request.
