I. Internal Thread Y-Type Cast Iron Globe Valve - Overview

The J15Y/J65Y internal thread Y-type cast iron globe valve has three types of valve cover designs. The first type is the bolted valve cover. Valves designed with this type of cover are connected between the valve body and the valve cover by bolts and nuts, and are sealed with an annular gasket (316 alloy with flexible graphite). When there are special requirements from the customer, a metal ring connection can also be used. The second design type is the welded valve cover. Valves designed with this type of cover are connected between the valve body and the valve cover by threads, and are fully welded sealed. When there are special requirements from the customer, a fully welded two-piece connection can also be used. The third type is the pressure self-tightening valve cover. Valves designed with this type of cover are connected between the valve body and the valve cover by threads, and are sealed with an internal pressure self-sealing ring.

II. Internal Thread Y-Type Cast Iron Globe Valve - Design Structure and Characteristics

1. Complies with ANSI B16.34. Inspection and testing are in accordance with API 598, and marking is in accordance with MSS-SP-25

10. Bolted connection, gasketed sealing valve cover, threaded connection, fully welded sealed valve cover, and threaded connection with internal pressure self-tightening valve cover

11. Socket weld end conforms to ASME B16.11

12. Threaded connection end (NPT) conforms to ANSI/ASME B1.20.1 13. The valve disc can be changed to needle type, throttle type, ball type or check valve type.

The J15Y/J65Y internal thread Y-type forged steel stop valve has three types of valve cover designs. The first type is the bolted valve cover. When customers have special requirements, metal rings can also be used for connection. The second design form is the welded valve cover. Valves designed according to this form are connected between the valve body and the valve cover by threads, and the full weld seal is used for sealing. When customers have special requirements, full weld connection can also be adopted. The third type is the pressure self-tightening valve cover. Valves designed according to this form are connected between the valve body and the valve cover by threads, and the internal pressure self-sealing ring seals.

Packing of Standard Packing: 

Typical bulk packaging includes palletized plastic 5 gallon/25 kg. pails, fiber and steel drums to 1 ton super sacks in full container (FCL) or truck load (T/L) quantities. Research and sample quantities and hygroscopic, oxidizing or other air sensitive materials may be packaged under argon or vacuum.
