The opening and closing parts of J541H/Y/W bevel gear globe valve are stop-shaped valves, the sealing surface is flat or conical, and the valves move in a straight line along the center line of the fluid. The move

ment form of the valve stem, there are lifting rod type (the valve stem is lifted, the handwheel is not lifted), and there are lifting and rotating rod type (the handwheel and the valve stem are rotated and lifted together, and the nut is located on the valve body). The cut-off valve is only suitable for full opening and full closing, and is not allowed to adjust and throttle.

Feature Introduction 

(1) The structure is simpler than that of a gate valve, and both manufacturing and maintenance are more convenient.

(2) The sealing surface is less prone to wear and scratches, with good sealing performance. During opening and closing, there is no relative sliding between the valve disc and the sealing surface of the valve body, so the wear and scratches are not severe, and the sealing performance is good with a long service life.

(3) During opening and closing, the stroke of the valve disc is small, so the height of the globe valve is smaller than that of the gate valve, but the structural length is longer than that of the gate valve.

(4) The opening and closing force is large, and it is more strenuous to open and close. The opening and closing time is longer. 

(5) High fluid resistance. Due to the tortuous path of the medium in the valve body, the fluid resistance is high, resulting in significant power consumption. 

(6) Flow direction of the medium

When the nominal pressure PN is ≤ 16 MPa, the normal flow direction is upward from the bottom of the valve disc; when the nominal pressure PN is ≥ 20 MPa, the reverse flow direction is downward from the top of the valve disc. This is to enhance the sealing performance. During use, the medium of the stop valve can only flow in one direction and cannot change the flow direction. 

(7) When fully open, the valve disc is often subject to erosion.
